A place of peace

Everything about Samadhi says peace. It’s the ideal place to get away from it all and give yourself time to relax and recharge.

This 3.5-hectare property in the foothills of the Tararua Ranges has a cosy and comfortable three-bedroom, two-bathroom house, organic veggie gardens, a yurt, an orchard and a lotus pond, and several walking paths up the tree-covered hill.

The house can sleep up to 12 people with comfortable bunks, single and double beds available.

The yurt is amazing for yoga and meditation sessions if you are keen to stretch yourself and find more peace.

Prices

Please contact us for the latest venue fee, which is per person per night, plus a general cleaning fee. There is a minimum of two people and two nights.

Cooking & catering

The kitchen is well equipped and has staples in the pantry. There is an oven, a microwave and a convection cooktop. You may use all the kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery and cooking items.

If you want help with catering we can put you on to some good local options or we may be able to make these arrangements for you.

Facilities

Linen and towels are provided for a fee.

The beds are comfortable and include three bunks, four singles and a King bed. There is a washing machine and dryer.

There is wifi but no TV.

There is cellphone coverage although you’re in the country so it can depend on where you stand. A landline is available.

Massages

We may be able to arrange for a massage therapist to visit during your stay.

Cleaners and washing

We will provide the venue clean on arrival with linen and towels if requested. At the end of your retreat we will arrange for our cleaners to come in after your retreat and we will pass the fee on to you. 

Neighbours

Samadhi Retreat’s neighbours include farms, young families, and lifestylers. We ask you to respect their privacy and remain within the Samadhi Retreat boundary.
